Resin may contain small air bubbles and imperfections due to the nature of resin casting ~ color shades can and will vary from one item to the next.  Prior to painting resin products will require washing and other finishing (such as sanding any uneven edges or imperfections) in warm soapy water to remove the release agent used in the resin casting process.
